Welcome to CPTSD at Home. We are a support group for family members of veterans and soldiers who have PTSD. In this group, you can learn about the symptoms of
PTSD and how it affects the veteran. But, we also recognize that PTSD also impacts the entire family, so this is where you get help for YOU. I very firmly
believe that we can be a better support to our loved ones when we are in the best possible mental state ourself.
Our group is divided into two sections: Under Combat PTSD , you will find a number of resources available to you, and articles that may
answer some of your questions and guide you to finding help for your family.
In addition, we have a members only, section. This is a private area where members can talk between themselves about their challenges
with PTSD in their homes.
Because topics of discussion are often very personal in nature, you must be a member to read and participate in discussions. We work hard to treat one another
with respect and maintain an environment where we are all comfortable to post, no matter how difficult the topic. I will personally vouch for all of our
members -- we have a great group of individuals here and many of us have been friends for years. Our veterans and soldiers come from all eras -- Vietnam,
Korea, Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan.
We are absolutely open to new members who are searching for support and would like to encourage you to join. Whether you are just learning about PTSD or you
have been weathering the storm for years, you will be a valued member of our group!
